The Senior Edit: Sarah UT'18
Sarah was another one of my fall 2018 grads. Actually, she's the last senior I've shot with, which is probably why you might've seen her images a lot if you've been around my website. A third outfit I'm not going to feature in this particular post is her UT nursing scrubs -- but you can see a picture of her rocking those in her gallery linked at the bottom of this page!
Outfit #1 // Short green dress

I loved the lace elements on this dress! It had just the perfect amount of embellishment while still retaining the main focus of the image on Sarah. She paired it with gold-toned strappy heels that went perfectly with her peach gold College of Nursing stole. Also, she did her fingernails and toenails! If you're not into nail polish, then this isn't something you have to worry about -- but if you'd prefer having a fresh coat of paint on your nails for your photos, don't forget to do those before your session!
If you check out Sarah's gallery (linked at the bottom of the page), you'll also notice that this green dress was the perfect length for photos in Littlefield Fountain. Make sure to consider that you'll likely still get your outfit a little wet if you go into the fountain when you're deciding what to wear (if you want to get fountain photos at all).
Outfit #2 // High-low wine red off-the-shoulder dress

For Sarah's second outfit, she chose a dress that stood in great contrast with her last one. While that one was short, this one was long -- but it had a shorter hem in the front that allowed her to still show off her cute, strappy black heels. Though the dress is one solid color all the way through, the ruffles create an elegant texture, and the off the shoulder detail emphasizes her simple jewelry. Plus, the color of the dress itself still matches well with the stole and her nails!
Sarah's outfit choices can best be described as understated elegance. The simplicity of her dresses has a refined taste to it, and the colors create a deep, rich palette of winter tones. You wouldn't know it, but we took these photos in 45 F degree weather and she killed it!
