The Senior Edit: Semi UT'18

The senior edit will be a new blog series where I show off some of the fashion choices of past seniors to help you brainstorm what you might want to wear for your own shoot! The first senior I want to show off is Semi, who graduated from Moody College with the fall 2018 class.

Outfit #1 // Lacy white jumpsuit + red heels

The stole color for the Moody College of Communications is a deep crimson red, and Semi couldn't have picked a better outfit to pair with it! I loved how her shoes matched her stole and tassel, and how the fitted white jumpsuit served as the perfect backdrop to this bold color. As for the photos themselves, I kept the background colors muted to let her stand out -- an easy task for someone rocking that graduation outfit!

Outfit #2 // Red cape dress

For Semi's next outfit, she ditched the graduation cap and stole and donned a fierce red dress...with a cape! I loved the creative decision to fully embody the college color, and we decided to take these photos in front of Belo and on the communications bridge for good measure.

Overall, Semi's outfit choices were bold, fierce, and fashionable, and I loved how she kept them to a specific color palette that allowed all her photos come together and look like one set. She really commands the attention of each of these photos, looking stunning against soft backdrops.
